COUNTERCULTURAL EVENTS

In the universe of the non-hegemonic, of the not correct, we find a refuge for those who are broken, those who do not fit in, those who are considered strange, abnormal. A resistance is automatically created. A community that supports each other. Resistance of dissidents. What are the implications of being from the neighborhood? What does it mean to be a Cholo, Punk? Are the prejudices we have aesthetic or moral?

Countercultural events are a celebration of the permanence of the anti-normative, and a fight in the form of a party, against the systematic hegemonization that capital seeks.

This multidisciplinary event seeks to empower the local art scene, facilitating the connection between artists and exhibition spaces to increase their visibility and accessibility, democratizing access to art for the inhabitants of the area.
